So we visited Mclaren in Leigh today via Leigh Infirmary Hanover Diagnostic Treatment Centre and Munchies sandwich shop.
At the Hanover we caught up with my old colleagues and pals Karen and Carole. Of interest Carole’s husbands, Russ has been keen on an off grid van for sometime so he’s since given me some encouragement. At Munchies, we caught up with Karen the owner, who with her partner Shawi also own a Mclaren van. Karen does a mean sandwich!
After refreshment onto Moss Industrial Estate, where we met Craig to go round the shop floor, discuss initial spec and organise booking a build slot for mid 2021.
Had a great afternoon, meeting the team and discussing my plans, initial costings and booking a build slot for mid 2021. Awaiting a quote on the new 2021 4WD Mercedes Sprinter 317 in Tenorite Grey!
Will keep you posted on that. In the meantime looking at learning about photography and drones for capturing where we’ve been and what we’ve seen.
