Decisions, decisions…….

So we’ve not been down to Wales since the six nations in February half term. We love the caravan and I cannot wait to get back down for a walk along the coastal path and a pint at the Lion Hotel, Tudweiliog. https://www.lionhoteltudweiliog.co.uk/

Covid and The Van Traveller

So about 6 weeks ago, I had a blood test for Covid 19 antibodies as they were being offered to staff. It was positive! I do remember being ill at the end of January with a dry cough and I still have a reduction in my sense of smell (anosmia) which is slowly resolving.

So you can imagine my incredulity when a swab taken 4 days ago was reported to as positive 48 hours later. I am now in self-isolation for a further 3 days. Back to work Friday.

Tudeweiliog here we come!

So hopefully down this weekend, if the weather is good. I’ll be taking the drone to do a proper first flight and get so footage to share.

  1. Exciting times Sean , the pictures from the drone will be spectacular .
I’ve been looking at vans myself but not up to the spec of yours – it looks superb !
    Enjoy Wales
    Cheers Chris

    1. Cheers mate. I’ve added a twitter link right now for you to
look at. Its from the weekend when I took it out for the drone out for the first time.
I was so nervous when taking off. Hope to get to Wales this weekend for an extended fly.
      Come on board mate!

  2. Lucky you…Looking forward to some amazing footage from your travels. I always wanted a VW traveller but circumstances wouldn’t allow it. Then 2 years ago I met someone & now we have a touring caravan & life is so good.

    1. Good to hear you’re well Janet. I presume you still lead the resus training?
Gettting on the open road and living the outdoor life no matter how you do it is the key!
Last day of self-isolation so can’t wait to get out on my bike tomorrow.
Hopefully to Wales at the weekend to do some flying. I’ll post something soon.
      Sean
